Broforce is a side-scrolling run-and-gun platform video game developed by Free Lives and published by Devolver Digital. In the game, players take on the role of the enigmatic “Bro” as he attempts to save his comrades. Embracing the art style of other retro platformers (vaguely reminiscent of Contra), players will have the ability to recruit a Bro from Broforce's extensive selection. The Bros are parodies of movie action heroes, all with Bro-themed names, including Brommando and the Broniversal Soldier. Broforce is a game shooter indie, side-scrolling, developed by Free Lives and published by Devolver Digital. The development has started from April 2012 through a “game jam” and continued with the work of developers and popular support, coming soon under “Early Access.” The game was released October 15, 2015 for Microsoft Windows , OS X , and Linux (the latter was released two days later). A version for the PlayStation 4 was published on 1 March 2016.
The player plays in this game, the role of a “bro”, a muscular character fighting the terrorists and save other “bro” (teammates) and prisoners of war.
